About Us Mountain Life Church is nestled in the Central Idaho Mountains of McCall, Idaho. Mountain Life Church is an interdenominational, Holy Spirit inspired and led church. Our pastors are members of Ministers Fellowship International (MFI), an organization which "facilitates and nurtures meaningful relationships among member ministers, equipping and enabling them to be more effective in their callings, for the purpose of building and multiplying strong local churches around the world." Pastors Larry and Carole Terherst are the senior pastors of Mountain Life Church and bring with them a lifetime of experience and service to the Lord. Orginally a police officer and teacher, Larry obtained his master’s degree in counseling from Pittsburgh State University and an additional master’s degree in Christian counseling from Logos Bible Institute. Larry is a licensed professional counselor and after moving to McCall in 1998, began a private counseling pratice until becoming the pastor of Payette Lakes Christian Center. Larry and Carole raised three daughters near Orofino, Idaho where Carole was an active member of the community civic theatre. In additon to mothering, grandmothering and working in a dental office, Carole enjoys ministering to women across the globe. She’s the guest speaker at women’s conferences both locally and globally. Living in Idaho for the past 20+ years has not kept them from traveling the world sharing Christ’s love. After their first mission trip to Central America, Larry and Carole realized their calling for world-wide outreach. Central America was followed by Austria, New Zealand and Mexico. Additionally, they have made several journeys to West Africa where Moutain Life Chuch supports an active ministry. Larry and Carole consider it an honor and privelege to be a part of the leadership at Mountain Life Church.
